How did you get into your religion/viewpoint of life, aka being a witch? :3
I was pretty much always into mystical things. Magic, witches, and I was in love with the idea of spells, potions, and the like. Any movie I could get my hands on related to any of these and I was the happiest kid ever. I loved learning about Ancient Egytians, the Vikings, the Greeks and Romans, and their religions.
I was raised Anglican and Presbyterian, my grandpa is even an ordained Anglican preist. Growing up around those religions never gave me the kind of spark that learning of those ancient religions did. Then, my grandmother (who was a devout anglican, but also an anthropoligist/archaeologist) told me about witchcraft, though I dont think she meant for me to get so hooked on it.
After that I went out and bought my first book on witchcraft, I read it cover to cover in a day flat. I was SO entranced by it, almost everything keyed right into how I felt about everything; life, death, the stars, energy, etc. I began to read and research as much as I could possibly get my hands on, and I havent looked back since. It was a gradual progression, though, and a very natural one for me. Starting way back when I was a child, the interest was there, but I didnt actually start the learning process until I was 13-14 years old. 10-11 years later and I’m still going strong.
